Apparently I've been nominated for a fandom award, which is, you know, kinda awesome, since I didn't even know these were going on until someone on my flist mentioned they got nominated. Even then I thought "that's nice for them" and went to work, and then came home to an email saying I'd gotten the same. Nominated with the same fic in two categories, isn't that cool? :)

I'm slightly bemused to note that mine is the... er... only non-pairing fic in the whole of the Torchwood drama category. Genfic ftw?

And it's also the only non-pairing non-jack/ianto story (no, I did NOT write it as a slash story, even though those two share page-space together) in the novel-length category.

That's gotta be worth a couple of votes, right? I've somehow managed to beat the staggering odds and get nominated even though my fic is not a Jack/Ianto fic (seriously, go look, it's heavily weighted).

Go vote. You know you want to. And I deserve something after getting nominated for the Stargate awards every year for about six years running and never winning. ;P

In other news, I've signed up to NaNoWriMo and plan to sign up for Yuletide when it comes up. I'm goddamn crazy.

Of course I am. I'm nearly done with the second part. I got a bit thrown by having to go back to work (which basically kills any free time for about five days in a row). For one, I need to get it finished before November starts up if I'm going to do Nano. :)
